Pottsville is a small town in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,851 at the 2010 census. Pottsville is one of the oldest towns in Pennsylvania and was founded in 1755 by Captain John Potts. It became a borough in 1852 and a city in 1907. The current mayor is Donny Schmidt. The first settlers to what is now Pottsville were Captain John Potts and his family who arrived from North Carolina on July 3, 1755. They started out as traders with the French and Indians. In 1757, they built a ford across the Susquehanna River at present-day Easton and named their new settlement "Pottsville". By early 1758, they had erected a log cabin on the site of present day First Presbyterian Church which still stands today. In 1759, Captain John's son Thomas built an additional log cabin on the same site as his father's original house. This house became known as "The White House" because it was white with evidence of paint only when restoration efforts were made many years later (in 1984). The house remained standing until it caught fire during a storm in 1950; however, due to insurance claims it was repaired and returned to its former condition within six months following that storm event! Captain John died unmarried young on December 6th, 1760 after serving two terms as Mayor of Pottsville Borough since its incorporation into York County on October 7th of that year! His widow Sarah moved back to North Carolina with their three children where she continued farming until her death in 1826! Their eldest son James took over running the family farm while also attending college successfully completing an undergraduate degree at Yale University! James then married into one of England's most prestigious families becoming an MP (Member Of Parliament) for Gloucestershire & Wiltshire! When pottingtons lost their land holdings upstream along the Susquehanna River throughbuyout by George Washington during his time as President we did not lose our cultural connection very much but there has been some attrition over time Governor William Penn appointed Colonel Abraham Sinden to manage post office operations near Lancaster so potential farmers could get supplies directly from Philadelphia which set off another round of buying out local farmers throughout central PA area including New Kensington Township However this system fell apart because people would sign contracts without ever visiting or settling down so instead1800’s saw more development around Bethlehem just south of Lancaster known as “Bethlehem Prominence” this area included Brownstown now part of Allentown There were numerous attempts by Pennsylvanian government officials to establish larger settlements east side river near Clearfield though all failed except for one case where Johann Heinrich Brandt established “New Berlin” just north side Monongahela River

The amendment was passed by Congress and went into effect on April 14, 1965. This legislation led to significant increase in firearm sales through licensed firearms dealers across the United States. The Gun Control Act also helped create a demand for "firearm t-shirts" - shirts that depicted firearm usage or safety tips in an attempt to promote responsible firearms ownership. The proliferation of T-Shirts with patriotic content during this time period can be partially attributed to two major events: The first was Super Bowl XLVI (the largest U.S.-wide televised sporting event ever), which took place on February 6, 1966; and secondly, President Lyndon Johnson's address at West Point announcing his plan for gun control following the shooting death of John F Kennedy.het had been created specifically for NRA members only - similar designs were not available for sale general public. In fact, until recently it was unknown how many such items were produced throughout history

Pottsville was founded in 1753 by James Potts and his brother, John. The first settlement was on the east side of the Susquehanna River, about four miles from where it now stands. In 1757, James Potts donated five acres of land to the town for a courthouse and jail. The town grew rapidly, and by 1771 it had a population of 350. In 1814, Pottsville became the capital of Pennsylvania. The next year, Congress passed an act providing for state government within a new country formed from all of North America. Pennsylvaniasylvania Territory was created out of parts of Maryland and Delaware. As part of this territory, Pottsville became the capital city with powers to pass laws similar to those found in Virginia and Maryland. In 1828, when Pennsylvania seceded from the United States, Pottsville reverted back to its original name and status as an incorporated town. It remained an important center for trade until the 1800s when it largely fell into disrepair due to economic factors such as lack of water supplies and overpopulation. However, some restoration work has occurred in recent years including renovation of downtown buildings; construction of a new library; and completion of a project that will replace most streetlights with LED lights in order to improve night vision for pedestrians or cyclists who may be using them at night
Pottsville was founded in 1796 by George Washington and Nicholas Heninger. The town was named after General John Potts who fought in the French and Indian War. In 1812, Pottsville was attacked by the Indians and many residents were killed or taken captive. The town was rebuilt and renamed after Captain Johnstown which had been destroyed by a fire in 1814.
