The original design for high capacity kits was based on copper wire wound around a hub found on older computers known as PnP boards or Programmable National Products boards which could support up to 16 signals per conductor/per pin respectively. Copper wire wound around a hub is not suitable for high speed data communication because it becomes very hot from power applied through it; this means that any heat generated by connecting wires together will cause these wires to glow red or green under light due to junction temperature runaway. To avoid this problem, early designs for high capacity kits used plastic circles instead of copper wire wound around a hub because these circuits can be built without any heat problems thanks to their use of small plastic balls as transistors instead of metal wires wrapped around ahub like in earlier designs. In 1998, Infineon released its own version of HSIFunctional Components which allowed devices such as digital photo detectors (DPDs) and digital audio players (DAPs) to connect directly with each other using just six pins rather than eighteen traditionalpins required with earlier HSIFunctional Components designs In 2000,Microchip released their own version called BCM2835 which supported multiplexing up to sixteen signals onto one conductor/pin allowing increased performance when connecting devices together at high speed In 2003,Advanced Micro Devices released their own version called AMD Opteron X6 1100 which had two channels supporting data rate up to 1600 bits per second In 2006,Intel released their own version called Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 which supports data rate Up To 3072 bits per second .
