This mount allowed cars to be attached directly to telescopes using brackets that held the telescope in place while driving. Today, there are many different types of Scope Mounts available on the market. Some of these include those designed specifically for firearms such as those made by Vail and Sons Incorporated or Ameritron Corporation; however, all ScopeMounts are designed with one goal in mind: making shooting easier than ever before!

In 1836, the Texas Rangers were organized to suppress Native American uprising in what is now Abilene. In 1839, a mission was established in what is now Wichita Falls, Texas. The town of Wichita Falls was founded by Methodist missionaries who named it after the falls of Wichita River in Scotland. It became an important stop on the Santa Fe Trail and served as a center for education and trade. On December 29, 1861, when Confederate forces attacked Fort Sumter in South Carolina, General John Bell Hood ordered his army to converge on Wichita Falls. Union forces arrived too late to save the fort and most of the town burned down while its people fought back with munitions and homes. The community has been largely forgotten ever since but its history can be found through museum exhibits and oral histories that have been passed down from generation to generation.
