Ammunition has a long and colorful history in Alice, Texas. The town was founded in 1881 by two brothers, John and George Webb. They started a munitions factory to produce artillery rounds for the Mexican-American War. In 1903, the Webb brothers died in a railroad accident while working on their new munitions plant. Their son, John W. Webb III, took over the business and continued to produce rounds until it closed in 1959. The first ammunition company in Alice was the Mayo Manufacturing Company (founded 1892). This company produced artillery shells and other munitions products for various wars including the American Civil War (1861-1865), Spanish-American War ( 1898), World War I (1914-1918), and World War II (1939-1945). Other early ammunition companies include: Hinkle & Bacon Ammunition Company (established 1897); Germania Ammo Factory #1 (founded 1899); Armoury Ammunition Company of America(established 1902); Lewis Machine Gun Works Inc.(organized 1907) and Howard Machine Guns Inc.(organized 1912). In 1903, Alice became home to one of America’s first commercial gunsmiths when James Acheson opened his Acheson Firearms Shop here. This shop manufactured firearms including pistols, revolvers, shotguns, rifles and machine guns from 1892 through 1905. From 1916 through 1917 Acheson was also responsible for developing what is now known as “Alice Rifle” which was an innovative semi-automatic rifle that allowed users to fire multiple rounds at once with no reloading required. During World War I Alice served as Headquarters for Army Air Forces Squadron 121st Bombardment Group located at Seymour Johnson Field on FM 926 south of town. During this time there were several large bombardments such as the March 6th 1918 bombing of Dresden which killed more than 100 people along with damage done to many buildings including major bridges and businesses which are still visible today!

Each pellet travels for about .3 seconds before detonating andarding all nearby objects within 25 yards as well as any person standing within 5 yards if they are wearing body armor!

Alice, Texas is a small town in the Panhandle of Texas. The population was 6,325 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Alice is named after Alice Bailey, an American medium who helped found Theosophy in 1875 and served as its first president from 1893 to 1899. The town began as a Methodist settlement in 1879 on what is now State Highway 90A about three miles east of present-day Alice. In 1886, Alice Post Office was established there with Wm. Henson as postmaster and John Atherton as mail carrier. A store opened in 1895 by Jno Fenton became one of the most popular businesses in the town. In 1907, Alice had a school district that included both rural schools and a high school which later became known as Carroll High School (now Carroll College). In 1912, due to land acquisition by the Dallas-Fort Worth Independent School District (DFW ISD), all but one of the rural schools were merged into DFW ISD's Alice Consolidated School District (ACSD).

For example, incendiary bombs were used as weapons in order to inflict heavy damage on German targets while minimizing collateral damage;5 million rounds were dropped on Japanese cities alone without causing any fatalities or injuries. Additionally, antitank rockets were developed during World War II in order to damaged enemy tanks; over 2 million rounds were fire off without hitting any target

In 1907, Alice became a city and on November 3, 1912, it received its charter from the Texas Legislature. As a city, Alice had many privileges not enjoyed by townships or counties. It could lay out streets and build buildings without government approval; it could make deals with other cities without their consent; and it could collect taxes even if no one lived within its limits. In 1916, Alice annexed the neighboring town of Rocksville to become one municipality. The growth of Alice led to increased development in other parts of the county such as White Sands and Azle which were also incorporated as cities soon after. By 1938 there were over 100 businesses operating in Alice with an average population size of over 1,000 people. The decade saw new housing developments built along Loop 281A including the Pruitt-Igoe housing project which became known as "the red brick district." In 1949 Jasper County formed a joint venture with Dallas County to manage all public lands east of Interstate 10 within their boundaries. This led to several projects such as construction of Alamo Stadium (now Alamodome) on land that had been part of Floyd Bennett Field since 1914 and what is now Northwest Side Park near downtown Dallas (renamed Harry Hines Park after the founder of Waco Oil). As city growth continued throughout the 1960s and 1970s social services expanded into areas previously reserved for rural residents while commercial development flourished around Loop 281A becoming home to major retailers like Sears Roebuck & Co., JCPenney & Co., Kmart Supercenter & Sam's Club as well as smaller stores like Piggly Wiggly Markets and Texaco convenience stores until it was closed down by Walmart in 2011 when they announced plans for a $5 billion expansion across North Texas including plans for a new shopping center adjacent to Arlington mall which would dwarf anything located in Alice
