The company was started by two men who were interested in firearms. John Randolph and George Macon were both born in 1836 in Benbrook and they both became involved with guns after watching their father play with his rifle on the family farm. When World War II started, John Randolph enlisted in the army and went to fight; however, he never returned home because he was drafted into the navy. George Macon decided to stay behind and help his father run the farm. He soon found out that he loved guns as much asJohn Randolph did and he decided to start his own business, which would later be called The Macon Rifle & Pistol Company. From here on out, The Macon Rifle & Pistol Company would become one of Benbrook’s most successful businesses. It has been through these years of success that The McON Rifle & Pistol Company has maintained its reputation for being a quality producer of firearms. In addition to rifles and pistols, The McON also produces reloading supplies and ammunition for all types of handguns – from revolvers to shotguns! The history of bipods can be traced back to at least 1918 when two men named Isaac Haas developed them as an innovation for making it easier for infantrymen to control their fire while marching or during combat. After seeing how well bipods were working during World War I, Haas began development on more sophisticated models that could hold multiple rounds per unit instead of just one round like earlier designs had done. Benbrook is a small town in Harris County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. Benbrook is located on the west side of Houston and less than one mile from downtown Houston. The first settler in what is now Benbrook was James White who arrived in 1836. He may have been the only white person to live there for more than a year. In 1837, John Denton bought land from White and laid out a town called "Denton's Town." By 1840, Benbrook had a post office and two stores. A school was built in 1845. The first oil well was drilled in Benbrook by J.W Burnett in 1886 and production began that year. By 1890, the wells were producing about 10 barrels of oil per day (BPD). In 1902, an oilfield development named Ellington Oil Company was founded nearby with plans to produce as much as 25 BPD from its five well pads over three years; however no success resulted although some exploratory drilling did take place until 1907 when output during 1906-1907 peaked at 16 BPD due to El Paso Basin depletion which caused significant declines nationally since 1900 while natural gasproduction increased rapidly across most of North America demonstrating potential reserves equivalent to all known petroleum resources combined including those discovered in Texas since 1908 despite little market capitalization) On October 14th 1912 Charles Humble died suddenly after many years of hard work developing the new Elgin Terminal field east of Dallas off I-10 near present day Midway Airport operated by Gulf Refining Corporation which became TXEmpire Petroleum Corporation after it merged with Mobil Oil Corporation on January 1st 1973 creating one largest energy company in history thenTexaco Incorporated (now Chevron) on November 30th 1998 when Texaco merged with Rex Energy Corporation becoming Chevron again

Benbrook is a town in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,851 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Houston metropolitan area. Benbrook was founded by settlers in 1858 and named for Benjamin Godkin of Boston, Massachusetts. The first post office in Benbrook was established on December 17, 1858, and was known as Godkinville. The name change came about because early residents of the town were too poor to afford a new post office and instead used the local Methodist church as their mailing address. By 1860, Benbrook had a full-time postmaster and two school districts - one for white children and one for black children. In 1865, the name of the town changed again when an act of Congress renamed Hudspeth County after General Andrew Johnson's victory over Confederate forces at Bull Run that year. In 1870–71 (the last years of Reconstruction), Benbrook had three Baptist churches - First Baptist Church (founded in 1868), Second Baptist Church (1869), and Third Baptist Church (1870). A Methodist church also operated from 1870 until it burned down in 1912. As African Americans began to gain access to education during Reconstruction period through educational opportunities offered through state programs such as military service or higher education scholarships, they started coming to Benbrook more often than whites did. This increased demand for housing led to an enlargement of the town's commercial district starting around 1875; businesses included grocery stores, saloons/lodges, a printing press leased from The Herald Company on Main Street (), blacksmiths (), hatters ()) A swimming pool opened in 1904; it replaced an earlier water system which failed due to drought conditions several times over the years. Between 1915 and 1916 there were five murders within 2 miles (3 km) of Benbrook; these cases are collectively known as "The Five Towns". All five victims were Black men who worked or lived near Uptown Shoe Shop on Arkansas Avenue (). In 1925–26 there were four murders within 2 miles (3 km) of BenBrook; these cases are collectively known as "The Four Towns". All four victims were White men who worked or lived near US Highway 290 (); all but one victim died from gunshot wounds rather than other injuries common during that time period
Benbrook started as a small town in the early 1800s. By 1865, it had become a stagecoach stop on the Santa Fe Trail. The town was renamed Benbrook after General John A. Benbrook, who fought in the Mexican-American War and served as Governor of Texas from 1861 to 1865.
