It is known for its firearms industry and has been one of the leading gun manufacturing centers in the United States since the 1800s. The town was founded by cousins, George and James Bonham, in 1868. What started as a small arms dealership quickly became one of the most important firearms manufacturers in America. Today, The Gun Company manufactures more than 20 different types of handguns and rifles. The first guns made in Bonham were shotguns. These weapons were initially designed to be used with ammunition that was available locally at local stores. Over time, however, demand for these shotguns grew so large that The Gun Company began production of rifles as well. At this point, rifles were being produced both for hunting and target practice. over time additional barrel sizes have been added to make all types of firearms more effective at hitting targets from a distance. The first guns in Bonham were firearms made by theBonham Firearms company. The company was founded in 1892 and produced pistols, rifles, shotguns, ammunition, and other firearms. It was a small business at the time, but it became very successful over the years. In 1904, the company merged with another small business, Bowie Arms Company. This merger made Bonham one of the largest firearms companies in Texas. It continued to produce high-quality weapons for a long time. In 1934, however, Bonham merged with Colt Firearms Corporation to form Colt-Bonham Firearms Corporation. This merger made Colt-Bonham one of the biggest handgun manufacturers in America. However, it also led to some problems because both companies were very competitive against each other.

Bonham, Texas is a small town located in Comal County, Texas. The population was 2,849 at the 2010 census. The Bonham Post Office opened in 1871 and closed in 1945. The current post office reopened on April 1, 2018. With its rolling hills and large farmland, Bonham has been known for its cattle ranching and agricultural production since the 1800s. A community hall built in 1922 remains one of the few remaining examples of early 20th century architecture in the area. Today, much of what made Bonham such an important place historically has disappeared as development replaced traditional farming methods with more modern ones. However, some aspects of its culture remain unchanged: the weeknight dances that are popular throughout most parts of the United States during this time period; cowboy hats worn by men and women alike; and a strong sense of community that persists to this day among residents who have lived there for many years.

In 1613, another human named Nicholas-Jacques Clerfayt designed and built a cannon that could shoot arrows into targets at distances up to 100 yards. This weapon was very efficient and destructive! In 1645, another human named John Taylor developed a shotgun that could be fired using both air pressure and lead shot! This shotgun was very effective at destroying buildings and other objects! In 1841, a man by the name of George Stephenson invented the first locomotive! This vehicle was able to move people quickly across fields or rivers! The first firearm in America was created by Benjamin Franklin in 1795! He designed an artillery piece called the “falconet” which could shoot arrows into targets at long distances! This weapon became very popular after it was used in battle against British forces!

The first firearms were made in the seventeenth century. Rifle and pistols were designed toshoot arrows, not bullets. In 1692, a man by the name of John Winthrop invented the modern firearm, the musket.

Bonham is a small town located in McLennan County, Texas. The population was 986 at the 2000 census. The Bonham post office was established in 1886 and discontinued operations in 1962. It was reestablished in 1999. The first settler to arrive in what is now McLennan County was John Wesley Bonham, who arrived on horseback from Alabama on November 12, 1836. He named his new land "Bonham" after his father-in-law, James Bonham of Mobile, Alabama. A log cabin and farmstead were built by John Wesley Bonham and his wife Anna on their new property, which they christened "Montgomery". They raised six children there before moving to a farmstead near present day Slaughtertown where they remained until 1851 when they returned to Montgomery and started a new farmstead there with two sons of their late married union: George Washington and John Witherspoon Bonham II. In 1857, surveyor Jeptha Ladd surveyed the area around present-day Slaughtertown and made the suggestion that the community be renamed "Bonham" after General William Tubb's brigade that had fought at Alamo Heights during the Mexican War (1846-1848). The citizens of Slaughtertown voted overwhelmingly against this idea and retained their original name for fear it would become associated with Monterey Park or Pasadena instead of their own town. In 1865 when General Sam Houston ordered all Texans east of San Antonio to start preparations for an invasion of Mexico that would lead to war with Spain, most residents of Slaughtertown headed north into McLennan County because they could not support dwelling within enemy lines should hostilities break out between themselves and Mexico. When Confederate General Robert Ewell moved south from Monterrey across the Rio Grande into southern McLennan County on July 3rd 1862 he found much resistance from local militia led by Captain George Witherspoon who proclaimed himself governor of McLennan County with authority over all Texans east of Interstate 20/Uptown including Slaughtertown proper. After several days' skirmishes Ewell marched through town on July 5th to rendezvous with MajorGeneral James Hogg at Big Bear Creek where Hogg planned to march northeast towards Brownsville under cover of night towards Pecos River crossings preparatory for an amphibious assault against Mexican forces entrenched along the river banks west Of San Antonio under General Lopez de Santa Anna. However upon reaching town Ewell discovered that most inhabitants had fled ahead of him leaving behind only a few menagerie animals such as camels, llamas and horses grazing near present day Slaughtertown Elementary School which still stands today despite extensive damage caused by fire over 150 years ago! As Part 1 article pointed out prior TO THE FIRE OF 1850 NO ONE KNEW THAT SLAUGHTERSTOWN WAS EVEN IN VENUE BECAUSE ITS FOUNDATION WERE CHALLENGED TO REMEMBER THE TIME WHEN THEIR FAMILY BUILT THAT FARMLINE AND CALL IT SLAUGHTERSTOWN! SLAUGHTERSTOWN FIRST BEGAN LIFE AS AN INDUSTRIAL AREA BETWEEN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND MCLENNAN COUNTY WHERE MANY INDUSTRIES BEgun OPERATING FROM PRE CANDIDATE LOCATIONS LIKE ROSEVILLE OR SPRINGDALE BEFORE THEY BECAME FACILITIES OF CLOSED SCHOOLS OR OTHER BUSINESSES LIKE NOW . THEN AFTER THE FIRE OF 1850 WELL PEOPLE GOT BACK INTO COMMUNITY BUT THIS TIME THEY REALIZED THAT THERE WAS MORE ROOM FOR THEM HERE SO THEY STARTED TO IMPROVE THE AREA . THEN AFTER WORLD WAR II THEY DECIDED TO MAINTAIN THE AREAS BY BUILDING STORIES ABOUT THEIR MEMORY . IN 1957 ALL OF THOSE STORIES CAME OUT INTO OPEN RECORD AND WE NAMEED OUR STREET AFTER JOHN WATTERSPONDER MR. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WHO HELP US IN CONVENTION AGAINST LEE FIELD JR.. THEN YEARLY WE HAVE A GENERAL ELECTION PARTY AT OUR HOUSE SO EVERYONE CAN VIEW WHAT REALLY Happened WHEN THEY WENT TO ELECTION !

Bonham was founded in 1853 by James and Samuel Bonham. The town grew rapidly around the railroad depot, which still stands today. In 1865, the first cotton gin was built in Bonham and it became a leading center for cotton production in Texas. The town also developed into a commercial center with a variety of businesses including grocery stores, banks, hotels, and other select businesses. The population declined during the 20th century due to various factors such as demography (the area lost its importance as a cotton producer), competition from other towns in the region, and economic decline associated with war years. However, since the 2000s there has been an resurgence of local business activity due to new development in the area and growing job opportunities.
