The range remained open until 1914 when it closed due to lack of interest from customers; however, two other ranges followed suit within a few years: West Side Gunsmiths’ Range on Commerce Boulevard near UTD campus in 1938 and Parkland Gunsmiths’ Range on I-10 just north of Loop 610 South in 1951. The industry heyday for handguns began around 1920 when President Wilson signed legislation making handgun production mandatory under the National Firearms Act (NFA). A rapid increase then ensued as manufacturers produced more handguns than they could possibly sell! However during World War II pistols were turned into munitions so handgun sales plummeted; however starting in 1949 revolver production resumed under NFA regulations setting specific limits on handgun caliber and type production! As America transitioned into the ‘digital age’ new trends emerged with social media platforms like Instagram etching their own personal histories within this medium – often involving shooting activities! The town also developed an agricultural industry and became a center for cattle drives toarist Mexico. In 1917, when Texas split into two parts, Mcallen became one of the easternmost cities in Texas. Since then it has experienced significant growth both economically and population-wise - becoming one of the most vibrant communities in Northeast Dallas County. The years following Houston’s victory marked a time period of dramatic change for Texas as well as for America; it was during this time that cotton become an important crop in the state and agricultural production increased significantly. Many new entrepreneurs came into play during this time such as oil millionaires John Denton and James Fenton along with cattle baron George Waco. In 1860-1861 Confederate forces invadedTexan soil while Southern sympathizers fought back against Union occupation; these events are also known as The Civil War in Texas
