Swiveling firearms is a centuries-old tradition in Taylor, Texas. The first guns in Taylor were made from old muskets and pistols. Some of the earliest rifles were also swivels. Some of the most famous rifles in history were designed by Jesse James Randall and built by his brother John Randall. Other famous riflemakers include Sam Houston, Davy Crockett, and Calhoun Marshal. Gunswivels are now common on most American rifles, shotguns, and handguns. The gun swivel was originally invented for use with cavalry sabers. To rotate the weapon around its axis so that it could be aimed at any direction without having to move your hand from its grip, an early form of this invention was called a "rotary pistol." These pistols would have been used to target practice or during wars when there wasn't enough space for an individual to hold both hands on their carbine like they do with a smoothbore rifle today. Gunswives started being used for handguns starting in the 1860s when revolvers became popularized as pistols. Swivelling allowed shooters to get different views of their targets while still maintaining accuracy and stability while shooting offhand. This technique was later adapted to machineguns which also required certain adjustments that couldn't be done with just one hand alone while holding a firearm horizontally or vertically

The company was founded by John Taylor and his brother, James. In 1836, Taylor became the capital of the new Mexican Republic. When Mexico collapsed in 1847,Taylor reverted to American rule and the company changed its name to United States Agri-Products Company.
Taylor, Texas is a small town located in Hudspeth County, Texas. The population was 1,827 at the 2000 census. The main industry in Taylor is agriculture and ranching. The community has a post office, an elementary school, and a library. The first settlers to Taylor were White men who came from Missouri in 1845. In 1851, John Hogg settled in the area and started a cotton gin. By 1865, there were over 20 businesses in the community with 2 churches and 10 homes. In 1886, Sheriff James Fenton established jail here after he was caught poaching deer from Quanah Parker's ranch. In 1930, Drilling Company No 6 drilled for oil here which caused some economic stability for the community as well as new construction such as schools and churches. In 1995-1996', residents of Taylor organized themselves into the Agricultural Association of Taylor to promote their interests within the local government structure of Hudspeth County as well as within other agricultural communities across Texas through organizations such asrazor wire brush removal (WBR), fallow corn marketing/processing (FCM/MP), truck stop service (TSS), beef cattle auctioneering (BBQ) & hog feedlot services (HVF). This effort led to increased access to capital and resources for farmers throughout Texas; including support for state programs like State assistance to farmers program (SAFP) that helps needy farmers achieve self-sufficiency through direct payments from state legislatures

After years of growth, Taylor became an important center for trade and commerce in central Texas. It also became one of the most important slave-holding counties in the state. In 1860, during the American Civil War, Taylor sided with Confederate States of America and supported their cause. After the war ended, many Texans decided that they no longer wanted slaves in their state andTaylor declined to become a free state. As a result, Taylor remained a slave-holding county until its dissolution in 1907. Today, much ofTaylor is still rural farmland but there are some pockets of development such as downtown which has seen recent attention as an arts district due to its rich history
