Draper, Utah is a city located in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 11,859 as of the 2010 census. Draper's history can be traced back to 1885 when Brigham Young founded the city on the site of what is now Draper City. In 1932, the city became an independent municipality and was renamed Draper proper. In 1976, Draper incorporated as a village and then as a city in 2000. Ultimately this project failed due to economic problems however it did help improve transportation links throughout southern Utah!
