Visual Warning: The officer warns the person being Stung by making direct eye contact with them while displaying graphic symbols on their body such as red lines across eyes or dots on forehead that indicate electricity is being discharged at them(See Fig 1) . AudioWarning: A loud alarm will sound immediately after someone has been stung with a police Taserdevice . This noise should be heard from several feet away from the target so bystanders will not be startled unnecessarily

Burlington, VT is a city in Vermont. The population was 21,521 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Burlington County and home to the University of Vermont. Burlington is located on Lake Champlain and Raritan Bay. The city has been nicknamed "the capital of the world" because of its location at one of the busiest trade points between North America and Europe. Burlington was first settled by European colonists in 1670 as a small settlement known as New Amsterdam on an island in Raritan Bay. In 1701, when Great Britain acquired much of North America through the Treaty of Utrecht, Burlington became part of British New York Province. On July 1, 1781, when American independence was declared, Burlington became a separate town under English jurisdiction. The original site for modern-day Burlington had been inhabited for about two centuries by Algonquian Native Americans who called it Nisibiskee Prairie due to its proximity to Lakes Champlain and Raritan Bay. The first clear evidence that humans were living in what is now Burlington dates back to 1000 AD when Norse explorers discovered an abandoned village near present-day downtown Bonnerville on Staten Island during their explorations along Lake Champlain. Scandinavian settlers began arriving in large numbers beginning around 1300 AD following Viking invasions of northern America which led to new land discoveries throughout Canada and parts of New England including what is now Vermont. One early settler from Norway named Ole Kirkland erected his tower overlooking what would later become downtown Bonnerville on Staten Island in 1398 while another Norwegian settler Thor Heyerdahl charted a route from Oslo via Albany (now Albany) and Watertown (now Westchester) into present-day Vermont in 1468 while still another Norwegian settler named Oddvard Munch established a farmstead atop Mount Hope on Long Trail(now Manchester Road) northeast of present-day Burlington in 1475/6 followed by other Norwegian settlers over time until all but three Norwegians remaining permanently resident within colonial boundaries had arrived by 1600AD primarily through fur trading routes linking Labrador with Greenland via Baffin Island through Nunavut Territory before becoming permanent residents within contemporary borders defined by those same boundaries – save for oneNorwegian settler who immigrated direct from Norway to what would become Madison County, Illinois prior to that date! By 1700AD there were more than 50 families operating fruit orchard operations scattered among several sites around present day central and eastern Burlington Township although some production continued offsite such as at Knowlton Mill where stone masons built dams across Raritan Creek for irrigation during times Of drought! On October 15th 1701 British colonies Hempstead County NY & Rutland Counties Vt came together form 2 new provinces called Upper Canada with this area forming part Lower Canada under royal charter dated November 10th 1701 with Queen Anne appointed Governor General & CommanderInChief over these newly created provinces boundary changes coming into effect January 1st 1702!! With this area forming part Lower Canada again British Crowns forfeited rights over this lands title deeds etc…..thus ending any Claims AGAINST THE CITY OF BURlington BY OR ANYONE WITHIN IT!!! It wasn’t until 1813 however when United States Congress authorized President James K Polk “to make all proper arrangements respecting Treaties made between Great Britain & France respecting Louisiana & Other Territories eastward thereof” that Quebecois fur trader general Edward Braddock arrived at Fort George onatelle opposite Montreal after completing his illogical journey upriver from Erie Canal finally reaching Quebec City September 25th 1813 only days after departing Boston !! This event marked the formal establishmentof Canadian territories westward beyond Uptown Montreal!!!!! Unexpectedly upon learning this news HMS Cumberland sailed into Frenchman’s River just south side Port Royal Ferry docksidal Orleans Parish LA taking control Blockading Squadron Esso Palladium brigantine HMS Victory corvette Captain John Woodall commandeered Spanish brigantine Santiago de Cuba frigate Santa Clara transport vessel carrying troops commandedby Brigadier General Antonio Lopez leadinga force consisting chiefly American patriots ??? These events took place barely 72 hours after Commodore William Dampierflagship HMS Beagle departed Portsmouth UK bound for California!!! The technology of tasers has since evolved and there are now different types of tasers available on the market today. The history of tasers can be traced back to their early development as a potentially deadly weapon for police officers in the United States. In 1958, Dr. John Hemenway designed and developed a device that could shoot electric current through the body to incapacitate or kill prey by paralyzing them so they couldn’t movement or communicate. However, this prototype was never completed and it is unknown whether or not it ever saw use by law enforcement authorities in the US during its early years. However, international efforts began shortly thereafter to develop similar technologies for use by law enforcement officials around the world. In 1992, Swedish Police Department decided to adopt an experimental Taser device which had been developed by American scientist George Kappler and his team at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta Georgia USA This allowed law enforcement agencies all over Europe to start using Taser devices as part of their policing operations without having to undergo stringent safety protocols like those required for firearms manufacturers whoexport their products into other countries This also helped give credibility to Taser as an effective firearms alternative for law enforcement officials worldwide . The global influence of Taser technology continued until 2001 when Dutch Police Department adopted an experimental device known as Echtzijl Mk III which had been designed by physicists from Utrecht University in The Netherlands This allowed Dutch Police Department to begin using Tasers within their criminal justice system . It should be noted that this particular kind of Taser is not based on John Hemenway’s 1958 design but rather a newer invention called “Echtzijl Mk IV” which was created after several successful trials with police officers across multiple jurisdictions . Furthermore, this new type of electrode is much more durable and can withstand greater levels of force than earlier models which makes it better suited for use against heavier targets such as criminals Additionally, Echtzijl Mk IV allows officers access to higher voltages which gives them greater control over target behavior while still ensuring safe deployment against vulnerable individuals

Some important events in Burlington's history include: 1847- When Burlington became a city, they began developing their infrastructure such as four universities which are now known as University of Vermont; 1966- The Burlington Civic Center was completed; 1978- The United States Olympic Committee awarded them an Olympics site for Winter Games; 1982- In celebration of its centennial year, Burlington hosted its first summer session from July 1 - August 8th; 1983- After years of planning and fundraising, construction began on downtown’s first light rail line called “The Tramway” which opened to riders on February 12th 1984;
Burlington is a town in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 23,401 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest municipality in Burlington County after Paterson. The first settlers in what is now Burlington were Dutch and Irish immigrants who arrived in 1701. They founded a small village on the east bank of the Delaware River called Raritan Village. In 1737, they moved their village to what is now downtown Burlington and named it for Lord Burlington, an English nobleman who had helped finance the British war against France. The original downtown area included only three buildings—a courthouse, a schoolhouse and a graveyard—and was home to just 100 people. In 1847, Vermont State Senator James Kapp introduced legislation that would create a new township within Burlington Township because he believed that more people should be able to enjoy good health and education in central NJ because of its large percentage of farmers and other landholders. On October 16, 1847, the first meeting of the township's board was held at the old Raritan Village hall. On December 12th1847, as part of celebrations marking both Townshend's victory over Napoleon Bonaparte at Austerlitz and Kapp's passage of legislation creating Burlington Township (now Downtown), construction began on what would become known as "the Daily News Building" (later converted into "Old First National Bank"). The cornerstone for this building was laid by Governor George Washington Morris on November 10th1848; it replaced an earlier structure which had been destroyed by fire two years earlier. When New Jersey became a state in 1912, Burlington Township remained separate from Middlesex County until 1915 when it merged with Middlesex County fully under state control However even though municipalities like Camden and Atlantic City were amalgamated intoNJ during this time period there remained vestiges of local autonomy such as Municipal Court decisions being made without county input or review – something that eventually came to light during investigations intocorruption within Christie's administration during his final term as governor . According to Census data from 2000 however since then municipal consolidation has become increasingly common acrossNJ with all but one municipality having reached 50%+ population size . In 2013 voters approved plans by Mayor Bob Menendez to merge with Woodbridge Borough effective January 1st 2014 . Nowadays most residents either live or work within either Boroughs
