Bipods are a type of shooting stick used by many tribes in North America. They were introduced to the United States from Canada around 1800. In East Wenatchee, Washington, they have been used for generations by the people of the village of Kasilof. The Kasilof Tribe has their own unique way of using bipods, which is known as "bilateral." This method requires two people to hold onto the stick with their hands while they shoot it towards an object or person located in front of them. The Kasilof Tribe's bipod was first invented by Chief Joseph and his son-in-law, Crazy Horse. Their original bipod consisted of a long pole covered with a heavy piece of cloth that could be pulled back and fired using a bow and arrow. The use of bipods allowed these Native Americans to better defend themselves against raiding parties traveling through their territory. Since the introduction of the bipod, many different modifications have been made to it over time. Some examples include adding a pad on top for stability when firing off shots at targets; changing its shape or design so that it could be easier or more comfortable to grip; and incorporating other features specific to each tribe's culture or use. Today, there are many different types and designs available for purchase online or in local stores across North America.

East Wenatchee is a small town in Washington County, north of Tacoma. The population was 1,857 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area. The first Europeans to visit East Wenatchee were French fur traders in 1792. The original name for the town was "Nisqually." In 1846, East Wenatchee became a territorial township, and in 1851 it became an incorporated town. The first post office was established in 1865, and the present one was built in 1907. The economy of East Wenatchee is based on agriculture and fishing. Major crops are potatoes, corn, hay, fish eggs and other seafood items; tourism provides some jobs for local residents. David Sorenson founded the Sorenson Fertilizer Company here in 1912. He also founded Sorenson Paper Products which still exists as a family-owned company that manufactures paper products such as packing paper and corrugated cardboard from agricultural materials such as rice straw and vegetable pulp

East Wenatchee, Washington is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 4,813 at the 2010 census. It is the largest city in King County by population and the second most populous city in Washington after Seattle. East Wenatchee was founded in 1885 as an agricultural community on the east side of the Yakima River. In 1916 it became the first municipality in King County to be granted voting rights. In 1954 it amalgamated with Elma to form East Wenatchee and Elma City. The town has experienced significant growth over its history: from 1,500 people in 1890 to over 20,000 by 1910; 50,000 by 1920; 100,000 by 1930; and 150,000 by 1940. The early days were difficult: smallpox killed many of the town's settlers and lack of water made farming impossible. However, during World War II there was great progress made with construction of new roads and housing developments such as East Wenatchee High School (now known as Pacific Lutheran University). Since then there have been several setbacks including increased development around Interstate 5 and changes to zoning that have led to loss of jobs for residents and displacement of businesses. Despite these challenges however, East Wenatchee remains one of KING county's poorest communities economically speaking with median household income only $40K/year compared to median incomes for larger cities like Seattle ($60K+). Today there are efforts underway within the community both through local elected officials as well as national organizations like Mayor’s Challenge which provides financial assistance for projects that make a positive difference within their respective neighborhoods or regions
The area now known as East Wenatchee was first settled by the Shoshone in the late 1800s. The area was part of the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868, which ended a conflict between the United States and Great Britain. In 1880, the town of Wenatchee was founded on land that had been part of Fort Laramie. The town grew quickly, and by 1890 it had a population of around 1,500 people. In 1912, Wenatchee became an incorporated city. In 1916, Wenatchee became one of six towns in Washington Territory to be annexed into the new state of Washington.
