The Ellensburg Gun Museum is a nonprofit museum that preserves and displays firearms from the early days of Washington state. The museum was founded in 1984 by Don and Linda Stephens, who donated four rifles and shotguns to the museum. The museum has since been expanded to include more than 20 guns, including 6 cannons, 5 pistols, and 2 revolvers. The early history of Washington state handguns can be traced back to 1855 when John Wesley Hardin began importing firearms from Kentucky. Hardin's company became the first firearm dealership in what is nowWashington state. Hardin imported pistols for use by Indian tribes, military forces, and settlers in what is now central Washington. In 1858, Daniel Boone brought a Colt revolver to Washington Territory as part of his exploration of the Northwest country. In 1861, Daniel Boone sold his interest in Hardin's company to James Muhlenberg (brother-in-law of Abraham Lincoln). Muhlenberg continued to import arms into Washington until 1872 when he merged with Winchester Arms Company (now Remington Arms Company). At this time, Walthall & Stevens was born as an armory within Remington Arms Company. From here on out, Walthall & Stevens would be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing firearms for both Remington Arms Company and other companies within the rifle industry such as Savage Armament Corporation (Savage) and Schroder Manufacturing Co.(Schroder). On July 1st 1905 Walthall & Stevens became absorbed into National Firearms Act Armory Corporation which would continue production at the original location until 1948 when it was closed due to budget constraints within NFAAC Headquarters building on 4th Avenue North in Seattle WA

In 1881, the town of Ellensburg was established in Yakima County, Washington. The town was named for General George Armstrong Custer and his family. In 1901, the Ellensburg Arsenal was built to produce artillery Ammunition. It continued to produce ammunition until 1942. The arsenal also produced pistols and revolvers. The town of Ellensburg was annexed by Yakima County in 1907. In 1916, the county seat of Yakima County was moved from Ellensburg to Cheneyville due to population growth in the area. In 1926, the Thurston armory closed due to budgetary concerns and it became an abandoned building until it burned down in 1976.

One unique aspect of life in this rural community is its rotational agricultural society where people rotate among various farm jobs every year – giving each family their own piece of farmland during each season so they can continue growing crops while also providing income for their farmers partners (and themselves). This unique lifestyle has helped make Ellensburg one of Washington's most sustainable communities – both environmentally speaking as well as economically speaking because it provides stable employment opportunities for residents throughout the year without relying on outside sources for income (i.e., commercial farming). Brass is generally considered to be more durable than aluminum alloyed steel due to its resistance to corrosion potentials; however, brass can also be less expensive to produce since it requires less laboriously machining features than aluminum alloyed steel Barrel assemblies are typically finished with nitride finish which gives them anodized look. It should be noted that there is no single correct wayto build a barrel assembly; rather each manufacturer provides their own unique approach which results in various finishes being available for each type of firearm part . Bolt carriers/assemblies are also finished with various finishes including black oxide or gold plating in order to provide sheen or brilliance contrast against other parts on the weapon frame

Ellensburg is a small town in Washington state, located in the extreme upper Peninsula of the US state. The population was 5,844 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kittitas County seat and lies on both banks of the Columbia River. The first Europeans to visit what is now Ellensburg were French traders and missionaries who arrived in 1792. The first permanent resident was Jean Baptiste de La Salle, who built his fur trading post here in 1811. In 1814, United States forces destroyed Fort Duquesne, which had been garrisoned by British troops for months during the War of 1812. The town then grew rapidly as land became available for development and business activities increased around the corner from Duquesne's former trading post on State Street (now State Avenue). In 1846, Congress passed an act giving Kittitas County its present boundaries; Ellensburg was included within this new county and began to grow rapidly as a logging community (the industry still dominates much of today's economy). By 1870, there were over 1,000 people living here; by 1920, that number had reached 3,500! During World War II Ellensburg was home to many military personnel stationed in nearby Tacoma including General Douglas MacArthur and Admiral Chester Nimitz. After war ended many soldiers returned home but some chose to stay on until their families could join them or they decided to move away after experiencing racism or discrimination at local institutions like schools or stores.
