Some firearms use striker-fired designs, which lack any cocking posts or other triggering mechanisms but instead rely on springs that push the firing pin into engagement with anvils located near the breech (the part of the gun that holds cartridges). When you release your grip on the weapon, this causes these springs to "fire" and cause it to fire automatically - much like when you hold down a gas pedal and watch your car start moving forward without having to do anything else! In contrast, some rifles and shotguns feature manual bolt-action triggers; these devices require you to squeeze two levers in opposite directions before releasing your hold on the stock for what feels like only a fraction of a second (though really it's only about 10 milliseconds). Manual bolt-actions are usually more sensitive than striker-fired firearms and can be better suited for precision shooting applications such as target hunting or self defense.

Seatac, Washington is a city in the counties of King and Pierce in the state of Washington. The population was 5,711 at the 2010 census. Situated on 1,574 acres (631 hectares), Seatac is home to both federal government services and commercial businesses. It is also an important transportation hub for the Puget Sound region. The first permanent settler in what is now Seatac was George Stephenson, who built a house on land donated by member of the House of Representatives John Denny. In 1851, Stephenson's son-in-law William Childs laid out his town on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound. The name "Seatac" was originally given to the site by Captain John Halliburton during his survey of Puget Sound in 1847-48. In 1865, construction began on Seattle's first railroad station; it served as the terminus for Seattle & Tacoma Railroad until it merged into Union Pacific Railroad in 1968. At this time, Seatac became one of two cities within miles of each other--the other being Tacoma--that were not yet consolidated into single municipalities under State law then known as "municipality consolidation." During World War II, much activity took place at Naval Air Station Northrop Field (now Boeing Field) located adjacent to Seatac; most notably were production facilities for Boeing aircraft and related activities that resulted in many jobs within seataco area including workers at nearby Grumman Shipyards Inc., Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Douglas Aircraft Company plants during wartime boom years 1945-1946 and 1948-1949. A major redevelopment effort took place from 1978–1981 when sitaco area became one focus for development through various public/private partnerships with goals including creating over 2 million square feet (120 thousand m2) of new or renovated commercial space downtown along with 4500 job creation events annually generated statewide alone from retail tenants occupying newly developed industrial areas adjacent to IMAX Dome movie theater complex which opened Fall 2001 after several decades languishing below market value due primarily to lack of foot traffic attracted by newly constructed Safeco Field baseball stadium just across street which had replaced Northrop Field as mainstay regional sports venue since 1961

Seatac is a small town located in the Okanogan County seat of Wenatchee, Washington. The population was 1,493 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wenatchee-East Wenatchee-Douglas townsite. The first people to live in Seatac were the Klamath and Nisqually peoples who began living there about 1800. In 1851, George Stephenson built the first steamboat in Seatac on Lake Wanapum and named it after his friend and neighbor Senator John C. Frémont. In 1937, Seatac became one of the townsites within Wenatchee-East Wenatchee-Douglas when that area was created from parts of two previous townsites: Benchmark and North Bend. The first post office opened in 1870, and was called Benchmark until renamed Yuma in 1907 because of a feud between two local families over which name should be given to the new town site. The current name comes from an early settler's wives' maiden names: Seatac (the wife of Captain James Seaton) and Easton (the wife of Major Augustus Easton). During World War II, many jobs were available for locals working on government projects such as shipbuilding or metal smelting; however, no businesses emerged until after passage of Social Security legislationameliorating pensions for war veterans in 1944 made Job Corps available to help those returning home with no work experience or qualifications available elsewhere. This program has since been expanded to include all kinds of professional training opportunities for those seeking work after leaving military service or apprenticeship programs

The airport went through many name changes before it became Seatac Airport in 1928. In 1945, the military moved all of its operations from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Seatac Airport. In 1949, theWashington State Legislature created the Seatac Research Institute in honor of then-Governor Kenesaw Mountain Landis who helped make Seatac one of the first airports in North America to include research and development capabilities as part of its mandate.
